Policy Roundtables
Structured policy roundtables organized with the Middle East Institute (MEI), bringing together government officials, civil society leaders, and academics to discuss governance, security, and economic reform.
These online discussions allow youth who are passionate and knowledgeable about a specific policy issue (e.g. environmental protection; gender equality; education; migration), to connect and discuss with like-minded youth and young experts from other cities and countries who share the same passion and interest. Knowledgeable young participants themselves can become speakers in successive roundtable discussions.
This activity is particularly important for underprivileged youth who do not have the same chances of their peers to participate in conferences, workshops, capacity-building programs, research, internship, and work opportunities.
Youth-led expert roundtables demystify leadership, foster self-efficacy, and offer a roadmap for youth to become leaders themselves.
